DL Tip of the Week - Adding Your vCN Request for KYVU

This week's tip is about How to Add Your vCN Request for KYVU.

Each semester when registration opens, faculty who teach BW mode Online courses will need to complete the vCN request for each course. This allows your course to be advertised for potential students. In addition to being advertised on the KYVU site, this gives students information about your course such as required hardware/software, required test proctoring, and the required text and supplies. You are asked to have this added within the first day or of student registration.

DL Tip of the Week: Disabling Users from Bb

This week's tip is about Disabling Users from Blackboard.

There may be times when disabling a user’s access to Blackboard is necessary. For example, when you are reporting no-shows, you may want to disable the student from Blackboard first, then go to Peoplesoft and submit the no-show. This would prevent any students from accessing your course after they have been submitted. Give it a try!

DL Tip of the Week - Grade Center History and Download

This week's tip is about Viewing the Grade Center History and Downloading Your Grade Center.

Viewing the grade center history will allow you to review (and/or download) a complete history of the users who have completed work in your course. This includes those students who withdraw or who are administratively withdrawn for non-payment or for no-show purposes. Additionally, downloading your full grade center allows you to have a complete record of the grades assigned during your class. Give it a try!
